What is the European Week Of Sport?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The aim of the Week is to promote sport and physical activity across Europe. It is for everyone regardless of age, background or fitness level. With a focus on grassroots initiatives, the Week aims to inspire Europeans to #BeActive on a regular basis and to create opportunities in people’s everyday lives to exercise more.<\/p>\n

As an annual event, the European Week of Sport inspires all kinds of creative and exciting events and activities in different countries.<\/p>\n

This September we are once again teaming up with Sport Ireland to celebrate European Week of Sport.\u00a0<\/p>\n

How does it work?<\/strong><\/h2>\n

During this week our Active Programme team is organising a number of \u201cI\u2019ve always wanted to try \u2026..\u201d<\/strong> events where individuals and groups are invited to take part in a sport for the first time.\u00a0<\/p>\n

Past events include:\u00a0<\/p>\n
