She has been CEO of Age &amp; Opportunity since July 2014 and leads the senior management team, driving the development and implementation of our vision, mission and overall strategy. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white; margin: 0cm 0cm 15.6pt 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'orgon',serif; color: #002e6b;\">Karen previously worked in the area of social housing and homelessness for 14 years as the Director of Drogheda Homeless Aid. Karen has also worked in the Institute of Public Administration as Acting Course Co-ordinator and Lecturer on the MA in Criminal Justice course.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"background: white; margin: 0cm 0cm 15.6pt 0cm;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'orgon',serif; color: #002e6b;\">Karen is currently a member of the Charity Appeals Tribunal and a Board Member and Charity Trustee of The Wheel. She Chairs the Staff and Employment Sub-group of The Wheel\u2019s Board, and is also a member of the Governance and Remuneration Sub-groups of the Board.
