Arts and Ageing Resources on Wednesday 15<sup>th<\/sup> November at The Gathering in Dublin, organised by Bealtaine Festival, Age &amp; Opportunity. This e-publication brings together a set of findings, recommendations, reflections and references informed by a Podcast and Workshop series held in 2022 that revisited the project Creative Enquiry: Arts and Older People.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;\"><span style=\"color: #0e101a;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;\"><span style=\"color: #0e101a;\">The Creative Enquiry project <em><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">explored new approaches to participation in the arts for and with older people. It involved<\/span><\/em> Cork Midsummer Festival, MusicAlive and SIRIUS, as well as the artists Marie Brett, Helga Deasy, Susan McManamon, and Colette Lewis. These artists conducted residencies with these organisations, collaborating with organisations, groups and individuals active in or representing the community.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;\"><span style=\"color: #0e101a;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;\"><span style=\"color: #0e101a;\">The What Next? e-publication is a tool <em><span style=\"font-style: normal;\">for the arts sector based on practice-based learning from these artists and the participants in the activities they developed. It is available at Cork City Council and Age &amp; Opportunity.<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;\"><span style=\"color: #0e101a;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;\"><em><span style=\"color: #0e101a; font-style: normal;\">Creative Enquiry: Arts and Older People was a collaboration between the Cork City Council and Cork County Council Arts Offices, the Health Service Executive&#8217;s Cork Kerry Community Healthcare, Age &amp; Opportunity, Cork Midsummer Festival, Music Alive and SIRIUS, initiated by Cork City Council and funded by the Arts Council&#8217;s An Invitation to Collaboration Scheme.
